Emma's Baptism

We baptized Emma on October 23, 2010 at the Saint George Catholic Church. She was the best little girl.

I wish I would have been more organized prior to the baptism. I didn't really get the word out beforehand. I wanted to hand make invitations, but didn't get the chance since we went to San Diego the week before. David's dad and Patty were going to come up for the baptism, but Tata got an infection in his foot so they weren't able to make it.

Regardless it was still a beauitful ceremony shared with friends.

This is how LD spent the ceremony after getting a mean look from mommy and daddy for almost knocking down the candle.

After the baptism we had an open house back at our place. The cake was yummy and Miss Emma was adorable!

Steve Armstrong and Katie Oliveri are Emma's godparents. We are so honored that they accepted this position.

Sarah Cleveland, Teresa Turner and Naunie Nelson came to the baptism. I worked with Sarah at Fossil Ridge and Teresa and Naunie are at Dixie Middle School.

Deacon Gorman said Emma is the first baby that he has had that did not cry at all during the baptism. She is so a wonderful little girl!
