Things are going well with me and working at Dixie Middle School. The kids provide a new adventure each day and I'm enjoying my co-workers. Most of all I am happy to be employed in a world where there are so many people that can't find steady work.
David is still the sports editor (or team leader as they call it at the paper) of the St. George Spectrum. He's been covering some high school sports as well as the occasional Dixie State game. He's been pretty busy at work lately and we have to make special time to actually sit down and talk to one another. Unfortunately (or fortunately because we will get to see each other) David has to take another furlough at the beginning of February. Hopefully this is the last one!
LD is as crazy as ever! He is all boy and definitely a terrible two. He wants what he wants and he wants it right now. Usually that involves some sort of food (cookies) or going to visit grandpa. But for every difficult moment we encounter there are also those moments that just make me smile and laugh. LD loves playing football with daddy and tackling him. He can be really sweet with Chipper and help us feed him or give him a petting. He also somewhat understands the whole baby thing. We will ask him where the baby is and he will rub my belly. If we ask him about Emmalina he will say something about her face. I think he got that from watching the ultrasound video and me pointing out her face to him.
I think that is all for now, but I'll try to post some of our Christmas and Disneyland photos this weekend :)
