Happy 4th of July Weekend!

We had a great weekend celebrating the 4th of July in Washington City. We went to the city celebration at the park on the 3rd. We didn't know, but I guess they have a tradition of doing these silly running races. It's broken up into age categories and both David's participated. Eventhough they had the advantage, they both finished toward the end of the respective packs. At the city celebration they also had carnival-like games, an auction, live music, a bounce house and just good ol' fun!

On the actual 4th of July I was a little dissappointed that there weren't any fireworks in town. I found out that they were lighting them off at Panguitch Lake where my friend has a cabin. We made the long trip, but it was worth it to see the excitment on LD's face.

We didn't really do anything on July 5th, but I still had a cute outfit to put Emma in so we celebrated with that!
